"We're total indie filmmakers doing everything ourselves, and when our feature Jose (2018) was suddenly accepted into Venice GDA, Bruno and filmfestivals.com were a great help in a truly successful launch on the LIDO: Bruno quickly and expertly devised a high-value tight roll-out at reasonable price (and gave us even more than we had agreed). In the end “JOSE” won Queer Lion edging out Grand Jury Prize winner “The Favourite" by Y Lanthimos, "Suspiria" by L Guadagnino (dir of Call Me by Your Name (2017), and “The Other Side of the Wind” by legendary director Orson Welles.
