See you at this year’s 28th Ji.hlava International Documentary Film Festival, which will take place from October 25 until November 3, 2024.
This year, for the first time, we are extending the festival from six to ten days. This expansion will allow us to screen films multiple times, ensure the availability of comfortable accommodations for our guests, and make the festival more inclusive for disadvantaged audiences.
For the competition and non-competition sections, we are preparing a selection of the latest, distinctive and thematically relevant films. During the Industry Days (October 29 – November 1) you can look forward to the closely watched Ji.hlava New Visions Forum & Market focusing on European and U.S. film projects, or to the introduction of the new generation of European documentary film professionals – Emerging Producers 2025. The festival will also feature enriching Inspiration Forum’s discussions as well as Ji.hlava for Kids and Ji.hlava Vibes programmes focusing on younger audiences.
Industry Early bird accreditation can be purchased until September 30 at this link. In the meantime, you can meet us at the Sarajevo Film Festival. There, on August 19 as part of Docu Talents from the East, we will be presenting the most remarkable upcoming documentary projects from Central and Eastern Europe.
