Matthew Modine returns to Fest Forums for all things film

Early Bird pricing ends August 31st

We are so excited to announce acclaimed actor, filmmaker, director, and producer Matthew Modine, will be returning to FestForums in 2025!

Modine, a FestForums keynote in New York 7 years ago, will be joining us in Santa Barbara for a fireside (literally) chat with FestForums owner Laurie Kirby. We know him for being in front of the camera in films such as Full Metal Jacket, Birdy, Stranger Things, The Dark Knight Rises, & Oppenheimer to name a few, but now you will have the opportunity to hear his experiences behind the scenes and see clips from all of his "festival-ready" films.
